Introduction

One of the best ways to induce creativity among kids is to tell them some engaging stories. Stories have continuously served as a source of entertainment for ages and can have a huge role to play in a child's cognitive development. As per the Fukushima Journal of Medical Science published in 2018, a child who regularly listens to various kinds of stories may show an enhanced ability to imagine and be creative.

Other than this, one of the biggest benefits of regular storytelling is working on a child's linguistic skills. Growing kids can learn a lot of new words by listening to their parents and other adults in their surroundings. Through fascinating stories with relatable characters, parents can work on their child's language and help them learn many new words.
